But, in the age of higher-tech currency, a disappearing Liberty Bell in an inkwell and a bright blue security ribbon of thousands of tiny lenses that magnify objects in mysterious ways have joined him. This bill is a show in itself, with images moving as the note moves.
The changes are aimed at thwarting counterfeiters -- the $100 bill being the most frequent target of counterfeiters operating outside of the United States. The $20 bill is the choice target at home. It, too, has been redesigned.
All but the dollar bill have been remodeled.
Apparently counterfeiters don't spend much time on the buck.
